ADVERTISEMENT Think of scoring yourself a very realistic action figure of Steve Jobs courtesy of In Icon? Well, it looks like you might not be able to do so because it has been reported that Apple is threatening to sue the Chinese manufacturer. No sources were given though, it was solely reported by The Telegraph that Apple has sent a letter to In Icons, telling them to cease the sales of the 12-inch Steve Jobs. In the letter to In Icons, it was stated that any toys that resembles the company’s logo, person’s name, appearance or likeness of its product is a criminal offence; I thought Steve Jobs was just the ex-CEO of Apple, not a property of the company. It’s a sad thing though, while it’s probably illegal for a third-party company to make a doll of late Steve Jobs, they are actually very good in what they do. The action figure that comes with a highly articulated body with three pairs of hands, Job’s signature black turtleneck with a pair of blue jeans, an extra pair of glasses, two apples, and so many more is actually eerily realistic. The good news is, In Icon’s website selling the figurine at USD$119.99 for the Asian market is still up and running and you can try your luck in purchasing it if you really want.
