Introduced at CES are the ThinkPad T430u, ThinkPad Edge S430 and 11, 13, 14 and 15 ThinkPad Edge laptops. Who says ultrabooks are only aimed at normal consumers for typical day-to-day usage? The ThinkPad T430 is the first business ultrabook from Lenovo that is equipped with the same thin and light designs found in consumer ultrabooks except that it comes with business-class performance. It comes with a matte finish with an aluminium top cover that surrounds its less than 2cm thin design. As for the specifications, it will be packed with Intel’s Core Processors and Intel integrated or NVIDIA graphics, and you can choose between SSD storage or up to 1TB of HDD capacity. As for the battery life, it can churn out up to 6 hours of usage. Further setting this ultrabook apart from the consumer range is the company’s Solution Center powered by Intel Small Business Advantage, a set of productivity and seciruty tools helping to enable overnight energy savings and automatic patch updates. The higher range are the ThinkPad Edge E430 and E530 that give SMBs the freedom to choose their level of performance with options of the latest Intel Core processors or AMD Fusion APUs (on the E435 and E535 laptops) with choices of integrated or discrete graphics. The laptops also feature fast boot up, up to 1 TB of storage that can be combined with solid state drive storage, USB 3.0 ports and a high resolution web camera. The smaller 11.6” ThinkPad Edge and 13.3” laptops give SMBs the ability to optimise their performance and mobility with the latest Intel Core processors on the E130 and E330 or AMD Vision Accelerated processors on the E135 and E335 laptops.
