You know how embarrassing it is when you’re typing a message on your phone while you’re walking and you run into somebody ahead? I think I watched a viral video before of this lady falling into a water fountain because she was looking at her phone instead of the path ahead of her. Don’t get yourself caught in such an embarrassing situation; the Lumus see-through video glasses are here to save your life – they allow you to watch HD videos and walk (safely I presume) at the same time.

It’s a concept of course, there are no products for sale yet though, there is a demo version at CES. According to Gizmodo, the video clip will be projected out so you can focus on what’s happening in real life and what’s happening in the movie but I can’t picture anyone desperate enough to use it. The demo unit is light and not bulky so I guess if they come out with the real thing, they might actually be able to fit it into something less hideous looking (the one they have right now looks like a paper-cut 3D glasses with a red and blue film over each side except, it’s made out of plastic and uses clear glass.

Alright now, give me a second brain so I can concentrate on both things at the same time. I mean like, sure you can see both, but if you’re not paying attention to the road ahead of you, you’ll still bump into the person won’t you?
