EA will debut its latest “Battlefield” title later this month, at the 2013 Game Developers Conference in San Francisco. In an e-mail invite sent to Kotaku and other media, EA did not include any further details besides the celebration of a “new era” of Battlefield. Battlefield 4, which was announced last July, will most likely see a beta coming this fall.
Interestingly, an image – supposedly the box art for Battlefield 4 – was leaked on the same day as the invites were sent out. While Kotaku did not manage to confirm if the image was a fake, a detailed view of the image shows that the game may be centred around Shanghai.
