Remember two months back when Facebook introduced an photo sync feature for its Android app that automatically syncs all your photos from your mobile device into a private folder on Facebook? The social network company has started working on a same feature for iOS users and has already rolled it out to selected users. If you’re one of the lucky ones who received the feature on your Android devices, chances are you’ll be getting it on your iOS device as well since you already have a Synced folder in your profile. To check if you have that feature, visit your Timeline on your Facebook app for iOS and open up the Photos folder. If you have the feature, you should see a “Synced” tab below, tap on that and you can turn on or off autosync for Facebook, if you do turn it on, I suggest you to limit the syncing feature to only work when you’re connected to Wi-Fi network. Nothing’s more shocking than to see your phone bill at the end of the month and be greeted with a humongous figure. Just to refresh you a little, auto syncing on Facebook keeps all your images in a private folder within Facebook so you’re not at risk of exposing your private images to friends. You can pick and choose which photos you wish to share at a later time. Photo Syncing only comes with 2GB of storage space and Facebook did not mention whether you can purchase more. The feature is only in its early stage. More information about Facebook Photo Syncing available in this link. Link : Facebook Photo Syncing Feature Arrives on iOS | |
