Not content with its sleek XPS 12 convertible laptop/tablet shortly after the launch of Windows 8, Dell has also recently announced three new devices aimed at working professionals, all powered by Windows 8.

Find out more about the Latitude 10, OptiPlex 9010 AIO and the Latitude 6430u Ultrabook after the break.

The XPS 12 may be built for mainstream consumers, but Dell has also reserved a Latitude tablet. Called the Latitude 10, it features a dual-core Intel Atom Z2760 processor running at 1.8GHz and 2GB of RAM. The 10-inch, 1366 x 768 resolution display is also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass, as well as having support for a digitizer stylus, powered by Wacom. Finally, there’s 64GB of flash storage and also an 8MP rear and 2MP front facing camera, all encased in a 10.1mm thick, 658g package. Customers will also have the option to run Windows 8 or Windows 8 Pro on the Latitude 10.

In addition, Dell also announced a new all-in-one (AIO) desktop, called the OptiPlex 9010. Interestingly, the 23-inch OptiPlex 9010 is available in two main options: touch and non-touch systems. Currently the option for the touch-enabled system is still not available. However, the non-touch chassis is no slouch, with configuration options of up to Intel Core i7 processors, a variety of Windows 7 options, and up to 16GB of RAM. There are also EIGHT USB ports (four 3.0, four 2.0), in addition to the standard VGA, HDMI, PS2, LAN, DVD RW and headphones/microphone connectivities. There is also a 1.3MP integrated webcam above the screen. Currently, Dell is also having a promotion which automatically upgrades the hard drive to 1TB, although users can configure the OptiPlex 9010 with SSD storage. And, as part of Dell’s SME product lineup, there is an extensive array of hardware support options, ranging from a basic 3-year onsite service to the full 5-year enterprise-wide ProSupport onsite support.

Finally, there is the Latitude 6430u Ultrabook, Dell’s first business Ultrabook – although that’s quite an understatement: this is the first and only Ultrabook tested to fourteen MIL-STD-810G standards. It features a spill-resistant backlit keyboard, protective LCD seal as well as reinforced metal plated hinges. With processor options of up to Core i7, up to 256GB of SSD storage, and up to 16GB of RAM, as well as a choice of Windows 7 or Windows 8, this is a mobile beast. The 14-inch Latitude 6430u also sports plenty of connectivity options, with three USB ports, VGA, HDMI, memory card reader as well as optional finger print readers, all in a sleek 1.69kg frame that is only 20.9mm thick. There are also two display resolution options available (HD or HD+) but unfortunately the Ultrabook does not have a touch-enabled display. What it does have is an optional wireless docking based on WiGig technology, which allows devices to communicate wirelessly at multi-gigabit speeds for data, video, and audio. In addition, the user-swappable battery is slated for 10 hours of usage.

The Dell Latitude 10, OptiPlex 9010 AIO and Latitude 6430u Ultrabook are all available now at Dell’s online store, with prices starting from RM2100, RM2799 (RM3600 for touch system – coming soon) and RM4500 respectively.
