In a nice touch, Facebook has set a new feature that lets users look back and relive their memories of 2012. The company has rolled out a new feature that is on all profile pages in a little box next to the status update that links to the user’s personalized Year in Review. Clicking on it will bring users to a page which summarizes everything you’ve done over the past 12 months, such as how many friends you’ve made/added this year, as well as the number of Facebook pages you’ve liked. Also, there is a list of your 20 “biggest moments” from the past year, which is basically pulls posts, photo albums, life achievements, all birthday wishes as well as significant dates such as graduation, starting a new job and everything in between. Oh, and the company also lists a date from when you’ve first became friends with a significant other on Facebook as a “big moment”. At the top, there’s also a rolling montage of your photos over the past year, circling around a large tile that shows your current profile picture, and an option to share the page…on Facebook, of course. There’s also a very interesting link showing 2012’s Facebook trends from the US and around the world. So, how has your year been? Link : Relive the Year with Facebook’s Year in Review | |
