Think a dual core processor is super-fast for your smartphone? Well, it is, for a smartphone, but Fujitsu thinks so otherwise because it’s currently showing off its quad-core superphone at CES. It’s a prototype of course, so don’t expect it to be available anytime soon. Equipped with a 1.2GHz NVIDIA quad-core Tegra-3 oricessor and a 1280 x 720 4.6” TFT LCD, the prototype was even equipped with a whopping 4GB of RAM; that’s way better than what we get on tablets, but unfortunately, the final model will only have 1GB. The phone is expected to be released in Japan and would run on Android Ice Cream Sandwich. Another notable feature, apart from its waterproof ability like all Fujitsu phones, is it’ll come with a 13.1MP camera. Will you want to get your hands on this super phone or is it really an overkill? (Source: Gizmodo) Link : CES 2012: The Quad-Core Waterproof Superphone by Fujitsu | |
