Can’t get enough of all those Microsoft Windows 8 products that we’ve been seeing a lot of lately? Of course you can’t because Acer recently announced its whole range of Windows 8-ready products including the highly anticipated ultra-light, sleek and remarkable Acer Aspire S7. For many years now people have been wondering if an iPad or an Android tablet could take over their laptop because laptops are too bulky and heavy to be lugging around, but why replace with a tablet when there’s the Aspire S7 Ultrabook that features a slimness that is comparable with an iPad, light weight, a 13.3″ size that we’re all familiar with when it comes to doing work (10.1″ is hardly any fun) and more importantly, runs on Windows 8 and is powered by Intel Core processor to handle all your daily tasks.

The 13.3″ Acer Aspire S7 is one of the sexiest Ultrabook I’ve seen so far, featuring a white scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass 2 structure at the front, it is ultra slim with an overall thickness of only 11.9mm including the keyboard. Using a dual torque hinge on the lid, you can use it like a normal laptop, or use the touchscreen comfortably because the hinge will create an ideal amount of resistance for your touch, making the lid stay in place even with strong touches; you can also lay it flat at 180-degrees and the image orientation reverses for easy touch-and-show sharing. There is also an 11.6″ version though unfortunately, it does not feature the same sexy white glass cover.

Both S7 Ultrabooks feature full HD touch display with electroluminescent backlit keyboard that offer a gentler glow than LED backlit keyboard, automatically activating and adjusting its brightness based on ambient lightning. They also feature the company’s very own Twin Air cooling system that extends the battery life and keeps the S7 comfortable to use. Acer also announced the ICONIA Tab W510, Tab W700, Aspire 7600U AIO, and Aspire 5600U AIO. Hit the break to find out more.

The 13.3” Acer Aspire S7-391 comes with a retail price of RM3,799 while the 11.6” Aspire S7-191 retails at RM3,599.

Acer Iconia Tab W510 If 13.3″ or 11.6″ are too big for your taste, the ICONIA Tab 510 features a 10.1″ display that offers a tri-mode usability – touch, type and view. With a detachable keyboard, you can use it like a laptop, turn it 295-degrees around for presentation mode or simply use it without the keyboard, maximizing portability. The W510 can last from 9 to 18 hours when connected to the detachable keyboard docking as the second battery.

The ICONIA Tab W510 is available for RM1,699 (tablet only) or RM2,199 with the keyboard dock.

Acer ICONIA Tab W700

Back to an 11.6″ size, if you wish to own a larger device without a keyboard, the Tab W700 is the only Intel Core tablet in the market, putting incredible power, true full HD and instant productivity at users’ fingertips. The 10-point touch control, ultra-responsive and powerful tablet is flexible thanks to the multi-position dock that allows it to be positioned perfectly for landscape or portrait mode for easy browsing, sharing, control and keyboard productivity.

The Acer ICONIA Tab W700 is available at a retail price of RM2,199.
